i voted with my dollars and my personal & company's fleet experience in my decision to use pertronix in anything that will accept one, you did the same with your decision to use points. mopar norm swears by the mopar electronic dist units. its what makes ball games. i have my old breaker point setup in a band aid box in my command car's glove box and had it in my m37 too. never had to use it. old style points and condenser quality is becoming suspect and i believe over time more people will abandon them for quality reasons. all the well done hopped up flatheads i have seen have some sort up upgraded ignition to go with intake and exhaust improvements. be it a hei, a pertronix with a hot coil or a mopar perforance unit its part of the upgrade.
