Gillig Power Wagon Bus Discovered

I acquired this Gillig Power Wagon bus Friday through an ad on Craigslist. The ad didn't have a photo and only described it as a "Power Wagon bus or troop hauler". I was told it's a '52 although I haven't verified it yet. The Gillig serial number is 5759. When I first saw it, there were blackberries grown around it. It had been lived in by hippies in the past and there was a wood stove installed inside! A previous owner had also installed dark plywood paneling inside. Check out the exhaust over the side door. It's pretty complete, other than the original seats being missing. It has a P-code engine now. Did these have T137 engines originally? I've started removing the plywood paneling from the inside. I have a few photos at this link. I'll be adding more in the upcoming days.
