Correct, I have the same manual. I got the military one at the suggestion of Tim Holloway. They do seem to have more complete instructions, and based on the pages from Paul's site it looks like the later PW manuals were modified to match.
I figured they were modified for a reason. Plus the engineer in me likes the more detailed setup specs.
I ended up setting the bearing support up at the lower end. It's not quite 15 in. lbs. but probably close. I did manage to get the second one within specs.
