fuel tank capacity

dumb question i know, but i s u c k e d at math in high school... whats the formula for figuring the gallon capacity of a fuel tank... i figure length x width x depth.. but what after that..

got a full size tank and wanna figure out how much por 15 tank stuff i need to get
