Its my belief after tearing down my Carryall to bare nothing, that the Carryall body was also used for a Panel Truck. The traditional Carryall has Lift up/down tail gates. Mine also had this tail gate arrangement. However after tearing out the inner steel skin, I found vertical hinge mounting plates (drilled and tapped for hinge bolts) for Panel Type doors welded in place. The only thing missing was the actual hole thru the sheetmetal to expose the hinge. The Body was also stamped to accommodate clearence for Panel Door type hinges. I utilitized these mounting plates when I converted to Panel Doors.

I have see some pictures of a Panel Body that had the same window stampings as a carryall, but the window openings were not cut out.

Since steel bodies were available, its quite possible the Dodge/Chev/Ford Woody type bodies were more of a Luxury vehicle ?
