The 3 piece rims from the LAV have a rubber band/o-ring that goes on after the tire, before the rings, that seal the tire bead to the rim. Also a long bent stem that is tighten into the rim hole , with rubber washer. The whole system is tubeless.
T-roy, I think I have the rims with small parts, if you want them for experimentation. Sure would allow. Sure would open up the rims to many different tires...
T-roy, can you find soem numbers on the rims? Is Budd stamped to wheel face, between lug nuts, brand firestone/goodyear too, plus string like 6.5(L)16, with the (L) standing for a letter that is a wheel design code. Some stampings may be inside, visible only after disassembly.
