Go back to your original post on this topic and open the link provided by Terry to Paul Cook's site.
The inspection hole will allow you to see and measure, with feeler gauges, your brake lining to drum clearances.
.006" at the bottom and .012" at the top.
I have followed the steps on Paul's site with good results.
