You asked about "rear bumpers on WDX style Power Wagons". This picture is of the rear bumpers that were on my 1958 W300M when it left the factory.
The first owner of this truck was the US Government. "Bumperette" style bumpers were part of the government specification equipment on most government owned civilian Power Wagons I have seen. The truck also had the "Deluxe" cab option.
