Yes, the Ford AA 20" rims are very narrow. The only thing the Ford AA wheels have going for them for use on a PW is the lug pattern is the same. The center hole has to be enlarged to fit over the PW hub and the lug nut holes often times are already cracked between the lug hole and the center hole, and this is before modification. I have a set of these centers. I would not recommend them for use on a PW.

I did have a set of the converted Chevy 20" rims. These have robust centers with the stock center hole adequate in diameter. The mod to convert these was "perfected" by a fellow here in Colorado so anyone finding a set of these Chevy 10 lug 20" wheels wishing to convert tham I can get you in touch with a fellow that has converted more than a few. 8.25-20 was the common OEM size mounted on these, IIRC. The 8.25-20 that were on my IH B140(9.00-18 was the OEM tire size) measured out at about 38".
