Hello, I purchased this rig from city of Benton, CA via Mono County surplus auction in 1986. It is a search and rescue vehicle with approx. 40k original miles. 354 hemi with dual carbs, ps,pb,tach ,19.5 wheels, all sirens and lights you would associate with this type of emergency vehicle. red and white paint with a canopy top from the coach company that prepared the vehicle. There were 3 of these vehicles ordered by Mono, all the same. I got the nicest one, no rust.
I was dept. of the interior employee and had my eye on this one for a while and got it the minute it went to surplus. I want exactly what I paid for it at auction $4500 or best offer. I am too old to drive it anymore. Located in my Barn in Benton CA next to the old Parkinsons auto wrecking.
