The "light duty" 5-speeds(like Spicer 3053, NP540, NV4500, etc) IH primarily used from the 1950s through the 1980s were made by IHC. They are denoted T30/31/32, T34/35/36 and T494/495/496. Each of these three groups relates to OD version/ wide DD/ close DD with the 30/31/32 being oldest and non-synchro, the 34/35/36 being synchro 2-5 and the most common, the 494/495/496 are late production.

I have two T35, one T34 and one T495 so I have had a little bit of exposure to these.

That all said, IH would do just about anything the customer was willing to pay for so they may have used some BW or NP light duty 5-speeds in some of their trucks but most will have the IH made ones.
