you might contact a bandag retreader in your
area and see if they can put a hwy tread on
9.00x16 casings
nothing wrong with modern retreads and might
be a good way to get what you want
only problem might be finding retreadable 900x16 tires
perhaps someone here on the forum has some
fairly fresh but worn NDTs or XZLs
