No gloves, hand-over-hand, not slipping through.

No gloves around machinery. A v-belt caught a glove fingertip, it stuck out an inch further than my finger. Pulled my finger through the pulley, popping the nail off, still inside the glove.

Gloves around binder cables, no problem.

The funniest story I heard about clothing getting wound into machinery was of a guy with an old wood lathe. He had mounted the motor to the shop wall. Went out on Sunday morn while waiting for the wife to get ready for church. Got his tie wrapped around the work piece. As it wound him in tight, the motor pulled the lathe towards the wall, loosening the belt, letting the belt slip. He could then pull himself away from the wall, when the belt could pull again, winding him back in, then pulling the lathe towards the wall again. He keep doing the jig until his wife was ready, and came out to see what he was banging on.

But remember, dying with all ten fingers is like dying with money in the bank- you could have had more fun!

(Said with all ten fingers, and a savings acount)
