The vehicle in question is the civilian 1-ton 4x4 produced after WWll in 46' and sold to the public until 68' and exported until 71'.This was the first dodge 4x4 named Power Wagon.Except for small changes made from time to time, the 46'WDX-68'WM300 Dodge PW are the same truck which could make it the longest production body style ever produced in the U.S. This is why it is refered to as the "original" Dodge PW. The name Power Wagon has been used loosely in the last 50 yrs to include even the pre-46' military 4x4 vehicles of which the "original" Power wagon was styled after, but the words Power Wagon was never used on a Dodge 4x4 until the 46'WDX PW.From years of casual use of the name for civilian and military 4x4 vehicles, all dodge 4x4s are referred to as PWs today.
