It struck me as interesting that both were made for many years after they were technically obsolete because customers still wanted them, due an excellent reputation.
The original Power Wagon was made from 1947 to 1968 (and the M37 from 1950 to 1968).
The Winchester 1873 was made from 1873 to the early 1920's, even though the Win 1892 replaced it.
My wife has a Kitchen Aid mixer that we bought 15 years ago, identical to my mothers from 30 years ago, and they are still be made today, virtually unchanged.
Anyone else find this interesting?
