woodside, calif. has a truck and farm equipment museum. it was built with private funds to enclose a collection of equipment gathered from a life time of scrounging. the owner ,locally known as pop, has passed on, believe a million dollars was spent on the structure to house the equipment. i was told that all equipment on display has been restored. i moved from the area before i could visit the display. if there is a car show at plesenton, check that out also. great hot rods. make sure you go to fishermans wharf for a crab and sour dough bread sandwich in the morning. forget pier 39 and go on 'forbs island' instead. the maritime museum is free, and the hyde st pier has some great old boats. the cable car museum is interesting, and if you gat across the bridge to marin county, good hikes and beaches. watch out for expensive cars and cell phones. its a busy place. have fun.
