There is a safe disposal route for PCB's they can incinerated, but it needs to be done at a very specific temperature band.

We had a company round here with a small incinerator that would get up to temperature and then dump a barrel in - the barrel would pull the temperature down below the safe level and PCBs would come out in the smoke and (alledgedly) killed all the local cows - no fun.

Can anyone confirm that the basic Dodge six design has hardened exhaust valve seats because it is so old they were using it before TEL (tetra-ethyl lead)was put in to fuel as an octane booster ?
