I recently obtained a title for my '47 Dodge in MN. The process is exactly as Hollister explained in his posting. I went through my auto insurance agent (State Farm) for the title bond. It costs $5 per year for each $1000 of vehicle value (minimum charge of $50). The State of MN determines the value of the vehicle.
Your local license bureau will have all of the forms necessary to apply for the title.
