I own '53 M-37 with winch that I haven't seen for months -- and don't expect to see again for many more. It's registered and insured and at my parents house while I'm Korea (I joke with my brothers that I have favorite son status because of it).
My truck isn't technically a Power Wagon in that it doesn't have that noble name on it, but since I can't play with it, I rely on this site and a couple others that I check regularly to keep me in touch with my hobby (my wife also forwards my copy of "Power Wagon Advertiser" when she gets it -- thanks, Mr. Maney). I consider this forum one of my homes on the net (in fact, I switch between it and a couple others as the homepage in my browser). I feel welcome here, and though I don't post much, I read pretty much everything -- I even open the "ntxt" messages so the link changes color. Keeps it neat. I "see" several of you on other sites that I frequent, and I always appreciate the "familiar faces." Mr. Cimoch, thanks for hosting the forum -- and thanks to all you folks who keep it interesting and informative and alive.
One last thing -- will one of you go sit on the running board of your truck and drink a little bourbon for me this evening? (If you do, please don't drive afterwards.)
