Hi, I'm new to the page. I have two trucks now. One is a 1966 4 door,4x4, 200. Ex Air Force. The one I picked up today is a 1968 4 door, 4x4, 200. My question is about the one I picked up today. It has a Military style flatbed on it. The bed actually has permanent sides about a foot high which are made of metal. The other thing the truck has is dual rear wheels. The duals are just long studs with spacers to hold the tires apart. Was this actually delivered to the Military this way? The way the bed sits on the truck, Dual rear wheels look correct. Anyway do you have any idea what the original uses for this truck might be. Weapons carrier?, just utility? Thanks for reading. I hope to graduate to real Powerwagons soon.
