No, no! No rock throwing from me! It's just that I have read responces here in the past referring to any Dodge truck newer than 1965 as not being "a real" Power Wagon.
In my book, if it came from the factory with the words Power Wagon on the side somewhere, it's good enough for me!
As I said earlier, I agree with your original statement, to a degree. If someone wants to run their truck in competition, who is anyone to judge that person for their desire? At that point, it's like taking an original military vehicle and painting it bright yellow, just because the owner doesn't like olive drab! It's his/her truck to do with as they see fit. That's all.
Now, I appreciate the original/restored trucks more then the modified ones, but that's just my opinion, and everyone can accept or reject it as they want.
