HI I have a 79 PW the motor in it is a 1974 J360 which I think is a High Performance well anyway I pulled the motor to change freeze out plugs and now it is all back together but wont start wont even try. If I give it a shot of either it will back fire threw the carb once isnt even really a backfire more like a spit no flames. I set the timing rechecked the timing the timing is on. I got spark at the coil but not at the plug. I put another distributer in and the same thing no spark at the plug. Changed ballast resister still no spark at the plug. Anybody got any ideas? I am ready to give up on this thing. PS I also put another distrubuter cap and rotor on too.
