I've noticed that many terms these days are being used rather loosely. The term purist seems to have become a catch-all phrase to include anyone who has an objection to a particular type alteration of a PW.There is a difference between a true purist and lets say someone who is brand loyal like myself.I truely enjoy a well thoughtout, quality upgrade type alteration as long as same brand parts are used if possible.A pwr str box, caliper&rotor are unnoticable and of safety first importance.A engine and drive train upgrade using same brand parts allows the vehicle to maintain a sense of dignity (if you will) that would be lost using brand-X parts.I commend Ray's efforts and success in adapting the chrysler brand eng. in his conversion kit!It makes me glad to think that if I ever need or want to refit with a diff.eng. I can still say it is a Dodge Powered Wagon! What part or parts make it a power wagon? Does the body alone make the truck? Is Power Wagon just a frame of mind?Could anything be a PW? To my girlfriends mother her pot bellied pig is her pet,to me,it is ham, porkchops, and bacon. When you look at a PW,what do you see, just ham, porkchops, and bacon or a best friend?
