Just a suggestion. I converted my 52 m37 to 12v. I use to batteries connected to a dual-voltage starting switch. Push a button on the dash and I have 24v to the original 24v starter. leave go of button and everything goes back to 12v. Bought the thing from J.C.Whitney. Part no. 74YV1397P--$59.95. I am very pleased with this product. If you still have your 24v starter you might want to give this a try. Comes with instructions although not for this setup for the dodge. anyone with a little electrical knowledge should be able to help.
