Just went to look at two power wagons that are for sale in PA.
The guy has two:
1st is a 1946 WC51. It was an open cab, but has some sort of lean-to built over it. It has a PTO winch on it but
not an original. It has an original munitions box on it but can't tell condition as there is a lot of steel in it.
It hs a rod thru the block, and looks like it stood for while. It also has a homemade jib crane (about 20' high) on it.
Gentleman stated he owned and drove it for a number of years. Some driveline is out and in the cab.
2nd is a 1947 WC12. It is a closed cab with a deteriorated wooden flatbed on it. Driveline appears to be in tact and complete.
Cab seems fair condition, Doors open and close well. There are no seats. Not sure how long ago it has run. but it had Jamboree
participant sticker on it from 1991. It has dual rear wheels (combat style).
These trucks are both very rough, but may be of some use for parts. I think there would be a lot of work involved in trying to piece on together
to run, but someone interested in swapping the '47 onto another frame may have a fair cab to start with. There is no grill on the '47 though.
Trucks are located off the Lightstreet exit of I-80 near Bloomsburg PA. The guy who owns them is Craig. He is asking $800. for both.
His number is 717-784-8997. I'll answer questions from what I saw.
