Here's what my literature says: This is a "Scorpion." It employed a 90mm gun for combination artillery/anti-tank use. Many aluminum-chassis vehicles like this were designed to be airlifted and/or air dropped into an area. This is a pretty rare machine. My books indicate that only 325 of these were built. It had a six-cylinder, air-cooled, opposed OHC engine, 402 cubic inches. These were built by the Cadillac Division of GM. I won't list all of the specs, but this would be an interesting vehicle and potentially quite valuable. Of course, you have to keep in mind that with rare vehicles, parts are often hard to come by and it would be helpful to have some machine shop skills if you are interested in restoring such a beast. Literature indicated that the light weight of the vehicle was unable to handle the recoil of the 90mm, making it an unstable artillery platform. It would be fun if you like a challenge.
