Air Tools

When working on my Powerwagons the first tool I take
out of my box and the last one I put away has always
been my Skil imp1123, 3/8 drive impact wrench. This
tool was discontinued in 1975 by Skil then copied by
Chicago Pneumatic and called the 723 which was
discontinued in the late 70's. It was the best air tool
ever built having a head that was only 3 inches long and
having 100 foot pound of torque it can get into all the
tight areas on a Powerwagon. With this tool you will
hardly ever need an air ratchet. In my worldwide travels
I always keep a look out for any parts or used guns and
last week I hit the jackpot. I found 24 of these guns
new still in the original box. The dealer I purchased
them from was selling them for $550 each and had a
shelf full of new parts. He said if I bought all he had
left he would drop the price to $350 and give me all
the spare parts as well. It seemed like a good deal,
as how the one I bought in 1974 I paid $350 for then.
Now I realize that the one I bought in 74 is still
running and I won't live long enough to use up all the parts and new
guns. So rather than being greedy, I thought I would
offer some of these tools and parts to my fellow
Powerwagon enthusiasts. I have enough new spare parts
to supply myself and probably every other Powerwagon
man out there for the rest of our lives. If anyone has
any interest, call me or drop me an email. The only
tool I like better than this is my Powerwagon itself.
