I am installing an IND 265 into my 1937 Dodge 1/2 pickup.
The ONLY difference was that the IND 265 crank flange had an 8 bolt pattern
where the older flywheel had a 4 bolt pattern. No problem since you just drill
the additional 4 holes to your old flywheel or find a newer flywheel with an 8
hole pattern.

A 265 IND crank and rods can be dropped into a 251 block and you've
gained an extra 14 cubic inches. As long as you are swapping from the 25" blocks,
there should not be a problem.
