Well, I can't say I didn't know what I was getting into...
Starting work on the 1961 W500 brakes, and of course no listing in the catalog, never heard of such a thing, the truck doesn't exist, ya-da-ya... everybody sing along. I did enquire of VPW, and they don't have anything except cab weatherstripping (which I will need). So I will have to work on the problem.
Before I lay siege to the problem in earnest, I thought I might ask here if anyone knows a good source of parts for the brakes and axle seals on this truck. Got a very leaky vacuum boost cylinder, and all of the wheel cylinders need attention.
Ya gotta see these hubs - *four* lever Dualmatics. Cool! Will post pics.
