2 years ago, Laurie and I took George Vest's 1941 WC-6 for a test drive prior to purchase.
We were crossing the James River on a ferry with a bunch of bikers. One of the biggest,furriest, outlaw-looking guys sizes up the rig and proclaims his approval; "Nice Jeep Bro!" I looked his Harley road King over and said, "Thanks, nice Yamaha, bro.!" Amidst the laughter. I pointed to the nameplate next to his head and said quietly, "it's a Dodge Command Car, the jeep's in the trunk". He laughed, stated that he still thought it was cool and enjoyed the rest of the crossing. Don
