Lonnie. There are some products that work really well in minor rust conditions. Basically you wire brush the area and paint the product on. It generates a chemical reaction that stops and hardens the rust. Bondo is pretty easy to work with too, but it depends on how much you want to do. Beware the cheap paint shops. They will paint over your dog if you leave him in the back of a truck. JH
