No, the stock MC will not produce the needed displacement to operate 4 wheel disks properly. Back in 2000, when I built my Bumblebee, I tried a 1.0" MC, dual chamber.
I had good brakes but no reserve on the pedal. It was almost to the floor.

I then changed to a 1 & 5/16" Master Cylinder which gives roughly 15-20 % more displacement. That gave me great brakes and pedal about 1/2 ways to the floor on a hard stop.

Since then, I have used the 1 & 5/16" master cylinder on all my conversions to disk brakes.

The NAPA number is 39017. The Bendix number is 11584. This is a dual chamber MC with NO residual pressure check valves so it will only work properly on a 4 wheel disk system.

If your running rear drum/front disk, you will need to add a residual pressure check valve on the rear drum line.
