Brian. I did a little reading in my Dodge Trucks service manual. From what I got out of it, there is no need for a dual reservoir type master cylinder in the W500. The single reservoir m/c that you have serves to activate the hydraulic/vacuum booster under your cab. Inside of that booster are othe hydraulic valves that send the force to the front and rear axles.
Where you have the vacuum booster before the master cylinder, you can benefit by having a dual reservoir m/c because that is what splits the force to the front and to the rear. I hope this makes sense. Maybe someone else will add to my attempt here.
