Hi Brian, I converted my 64 PWTW to Dual master with power vacuum unit. I got a dual master, power vacuum unit and the brackets to mount it off the firewall to clear the clutch master and the longer pedal rod from a 68 D200 Sweptline in a junk yard. I had the power vacuum unit rebuilt and the guy adjusted the longer pedal rod to my new 1972 dual master cylinder. He just used a glob of grease on the end of the rod and adjusted it out till the glob flattened out. I went with a 72 master because one of the reservoirs is larger for the front brakes, as I added a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve. The 68 Master had reservoirs of the same size. With no load, on an icy road, my rear end would lock up and come around on me to easily with the single master and no proportioning valve!!

Masters that bolt to the vacuum unit usually have 2 bolts and ones that mount to the firewall have 4.
I have noted that Sweptlines with the Vac unit under the frame have a different single master (longer rectangle) than my original round single. My 68 W300 has this set up.

Note: Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve goes from about 10 turns from in to out and they say right in the middle (5 turns) is about a normal proportioning valve setting. You Have to adjust the preasure to the rear. Ugly Trucking has good instruction on this. I have not finished this whole thing.

Get a good flare tool. My first one that is in the picture, was cheap. I took it back a got a K-D Tools 2199. Also need a tubing bender and small tube cutter (red).

Hope this Helps, Gar
