the michelin technical data books have inflation pressures grid for 900x16
and inflation depends upon
1. Load per axle
2. terrain & Speed
ROAD speeds 58 mph
TRACK speeds (non paved surfaces 30 mph )
SAND 10 mph
another old tireman's quick check for underinflated tires is to check pressure cold
then drive @ highway speeds for 10 minutes,
pull over and check pressure if the pressure
build up is over 10% then starting cold pressure is too low.
