Keith and I had a busy weekend. On Saturday, we picked up a partially-restored early chassis for him with a 251 or 265 engine (have to measure stroke), and what we believe is a 1968 WM300 cab (have to look up serial number).
Today, we brought home a 1946 WDX, #83900984. This was originally a non-winch, non-vent window truck with overload springs out of Kansas. Cab and frame are in excellent shape. Truck has some interesting details I haven't seen, including military-style door/window handles, twin-lobed cast rear spring front hangers, and an "Arvin?" beehive-style heater plumbed from a spacer under the outlet elbow on the block.
Can share photos and will post on the registry.
