I always do a chaulk test to see if the wear pattern is even at the pressure I want to run. This will maximizes your tire life. Color a wide stripe of chaulk across the entire tread and drive a few blocks. You should be able to see your tire contact from the wear pattern, where the chaulk has worn off.
