I think there is a guy in North Texas that has broken a few center shafts......He has broken a few front shafts as well as as his friend. Tibus used a D44 aftermarket Yukon ujoint in his 330m front shafts to avoid the tractas.

D44's are what they are, lightweight 3/4 ton, some good some bad. A high pinion in the front is strong but no match for a Dana60. I know Roger is a 2.5 ton fan and they are a great bang for your buck but also heavy and wide.
