We used to allocate an apprentice to a tech, the tech got paid the flat rate for what the app did but in turn paid the apprentice, so the techs time ticket was on the WO along with the app.. The apprentice only made a pecentage of the rate and the dealer and tech split the difference. I was audited every couple of years, never found much and what they did find were minor errors, th "funny" claims never got detected and there were lots. I even had a live in service rep most of the time. Claims always went up when he was there haha
