Well Steve, You don't have to convince me...I'm with you. See how far you get with getting that changed.
I'm doing the rear brakes on a 2001 Beetle today. They've been run metal to metal & they're beyond machining. I couldn't find US made rotors. I found a German pair for $130ea. The Chinese ones were $13.00ea.
I bought the German ones.
I'm doing my part pal but I doubt I have much company here. :)
