I was driving to the Southern rally this afternoon and the truck was running great. I was maybe an hour into the trip, I was on the interstate and while trying to pass someone the engine just fell on its face. I made it off the interstate and it was running rough. I restarted it and made it maybe a mile and it happened again. This went on for a while. Thanks to John Bitter (Johnny Burrito) for stopping and helping me for quite a while. I bypassed the fuel filter, hooked up an electric fuel pump, swapped the coil, removed the carb and"checked it out". no luck. had to call my wife and we towed it home. Any ideas as to whats wrong? It will now start and run for about ten seconds, run rough and shut down. The voltmeter will max out and then it will shut off. HELP!!! Thanks, Jay.
