1. Disconnect the drag link at the arm.

2. Turn the steering gear to the mid position. This is obtained by turning the steering wheel to the extreme right or left. Then turn back in the opposite direction to the oppsite extreme or end counting the number of turns required to make turn from one extreme to the other. Then turn the steering wheel back one-half that number of turns, this will be the mid position.

3. Remove the adjusting screw lock nut and lock plate. Turn the adjusting screw clockwise until it touches the steering arm shaft. Lock it, then check for free play by turn the steering wheel end to end in travel. Place steering wheel in mid-position. Keep adjusting, testing untill steering binds, then back off adjusting screw until no binding and lock.

For drag links, seat cups, then back adjsuting screw off to first hole and lock.
