My W300 has white knobs and the letter Id used to be black. All the black is missing now, all I have is the raised outline. The white part of the knobs is perfect.
My Plan; Clean the knobs well to be sure all oil/grease etc is removed. The get some dry transfer Black material. It does not matter if its huge letters or a outline. Hold the dry transfer over the raised outline, rub the dry transfer within the raised outline area transferring the black tot he knob letter area. Then a few coats of PPG MC-161 high solids clear.
