Thanks for the input regarding the Worm gear setup for my winch rebuild from the last forum. I was able to slide the gear onto the spool shaft with little effort after proper cleanup. No pressing required! Spent lots of time cleaning winch and then setting the endplay of the input shaft. All came out nice, just time consuming. Winch is for sale. $600.00 with front and rear angle bases. Have guides and extensions for 230 availabe, too. Would post pictures before and after, but not smart enough to do so.
