I figured with all of you folks, the collection of old-timers and those that just like old things – there’s always SOMEONE in-the-know about different topics!
My buddy has two saws that were his father’s, they’re “WRIGHT” saws. These are heavy chain-saw looking things with a HUGE reciprocating blade on them. The problem is neither one works and he can’t find anyone that fixes them or even knows what the heck he’s talking about! I guess they were sold through Sears (back-in-the-day) but there are no longer parts available and he can’t find anyone to repair them. I’m sure between the two he could get at least one running IF he could find someone to help out. We’ve both googled and come up with a few things, several forums/blogs, but no one with old parts, manuals or old dealers that can pipe up and help him.
So I told him I was turning to this forum to see if anyone knows of a source for him.
