I came across a 315 Hemi or at least the seller thinks it is, with a hydraulic bellhousing. It looks like a small Hemi and I'm going by what the seller was told by his deceased father. He was told it came from a 53-54 D 600-700 truck that was used as a local fuel delivery truck. I wasn't expecting such a find and had no way to clean the block for the serial number. Does anyone know what year this might be since it has this type bellhousing? I did a search but found nothing on which type bellhousing was used for each year. I know the 1957-58 315 polys have mechanical clutches in the pickups but what about the larger trucks? I'd like to put this in a 58 W200 if I can mate it to the mechanical bellhousing in the truck.
