Angelo, I just recently had the headlight switch out of my 48 PW. All the contacts can be cleaned after it is taken apart. It is a simple proceedure-with tabs keeping the switch together. I found that once I took miune apart, cleaned all the contacts and put it back together it functioned just fine with all lights as bright as can be. Good luck.
