I had the somewhat dubious pleasure of operating one like that last summer. Tandem drive gas pot with log bunks on it. The local guys around here (and some not so local) put on a steam logging show. They were using it to make a turn with the logs, off load them and then back around to reload again. My bro was running it first and somehow I ended up making the turns. He didn't like the hard steering. I think he was being a weenie. =) He hollered about it being to hot also. What a wimp. I actually enjoyed it but wouldn't want to go any farther than I did with it. About an 1/8th mile turn. Especially since I found out later the trailer brakes were backed off.
