Josh,

I was planning to sit this one out for obvious reasons, but because of your specific request for comment, I will oblige.

Regarding the fact that the hubs are made in China, I made a detailed comment below (see link).

Regarding the product, though I have not seen Steve's products in person, I do know him personally, and believe him to have a very good reputation. I am sure that he has built a good product.

I have gone to great lengths to ensure that my product meets or exceeds the original design of these hubs in every way. I have been personally involved in the design, material selection, manufacturing process development, prototype review, product testing and final production process verification. I believe that I have also made a quality product that will meet everyone's expectations.

Honestly, I believe that our products are very comparable.

Regarding price, part of the difference is due to the fact that mine are made in China. I have also lowered the cost through my personal involvement in every stage of the process and leveraging my network to negotiate favorable pricing. And, finally, I have decided to make little or no profit - I am doing this as a way to give back to the PW community.

As I mentioned in the other post on the forum: I accept that some people may not like the fact that these hubs are made in China, and I am okay with that. For them, it is good that there are alternatives!

Thanks for your questions and the great support that this forum has shown during this and the ARB project. Who knows what is next.

Have a great day,
Dan
