Have no idea where the balls came from but they were definitely in the bottom of the pan.
Springs where about 2 inches long and about a 1/4 inch in diameter balls where slightly larger in diameter than springs. I will be checking with vintage on the pump and pressure relief valve. Thanks for the suggestions.
